PORTCO’s History
Bridging The Gap Since 1991
PORTCO was founded in 1991 by a group of passionate advocates who recognized the significant barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing meaningful employment opportunities. Motivated by a shared vision of inclusivity and empowerment, they set out to create an organization dedicated to bridging these gaps. With unwavering determination, they established PORTCO to provide tailored support, innovative training programs, and advocacy services aimed at breaking down barriers and fostering a workforce where every individual has the opportunity to contribute and succeed.
Since its inception, PORTCO has remained committed to its mission, continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of the community and championing the rights and capabilities of individuals with disabilities.
