To be recognized as “disabled” by the Department of Veterans Affairs, a veteran must have a disability rating of at least 10%. This classification is more common than many might realize; for example, 89% of veterans in the Wounded Warrior Project report having physical or mental health challenges. With so many veterans qualifying as disabled, programs like ours are essential in connecting them with jobs that not only accommodate their needs but also utilize their unique skills and expertise.
