Today, I am going to teach you all what is healthy for pets to eat. First, I will start with rodents like rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs and all of the furry rodent family.
Now, for all rodents like a hamster, you might just want to feed them just one food that’s definitely for that particular hamster. For instance, I looked up rodents living longer with mixtures of different types rodent foods on the internet.
It gives them every single vitamin, mineral, nutrition, and more energy to live longer. Trust me- I’ve tried it and had a hamster for 10 years instead of three years. Just make sure this mixture of food has nothing hot or spicy in it or unhealthy or it could make any rodent sick.
Also rodents need a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. The best things to give them as fruit is bananas, apples, grapes, and raisins. Also, make sure that they are fresh. They also need lots of lettuce, carrots, kale and even small pieces of tomatoes. Rodents also love alfalfa green hay.
Now, for the healthiest reptiles, some eat veggies and fruits, the same as rodents. They also eat bugs and little feeder fish. You can buy crickets which are very healthy; the other healthy bugs are meal worms, beetles and flies. Crickets are a reptile’s main diet for most pets. You could also buy pellet food for your pet but sometimes they just won’t eat it.
For dogs and cats, I suggest Purina cat or dog chow and Purina treats because Purina has everything a dog or cat needs. Purina cat and dog chow has a mixture of veggies and different meats mixed. My mom told me that she had several cats and dogs in her lifetime and they did not have a long life span because of the different cat and dog foods she gave them.
When she switched to Purina, her last three cats lived up to twenty two years and one lived to twenty three years. The dog lived to the age of twenty. I had my cat on Purina all his life with no side effects and he is three years old now and still very healthy. Also, try Purina tarter control treats; they are the best for a cat’s or dog’s teeth.
I know that you all know to feed gold fish their correct type of food. You feed meat-eating fish that you keep in tanks feeder fish or you can feed them raw meat. That’s all I’ve got to say for that.
Snakes can eat any rodent and stay healthy as long as the pet store says it will fit in its body. Tiny snakes eat the same bugs as reptiles.
